Amplexo is Inês de Vasconcellos' debut album, one of the most awaited news in the Fado scene.

Produced by Ricardo Cruz (responsible for the production of dozens of highly successful albums in the careers of António Zambujo, Ana Moura or Cristina Branco), it features 11 original themes of unusual lyrical and musical richness. In Amplexo, Inês de Vasconcellos gave voice to the words of authors such as Vasco Graça Moura, Maria do Rosário Pedreira, Capicua or Fernando Pinto do Amaral, in compositions by masters such as Mário Pacheco, Tiago Machado, Ricardo Cruz or Edu Mundo. The album also counts on the collaboration of authors such as Rogério Charraz, Valter Rolo or Flávio Gil. It should also be noted that Inês de Vasconcellos signs the lyrics for Olhar and the music of Fado do Desespero.

Amplexo is an embrace that holds the world of Fado in its various shades, but where the various influences that Inês received throughout her musical journey can also fit. This debut album transports us to the most ethereal and aesthetic in music, without losing contact with the deeper roots of Fado.
