On May 18 the Fado Museum starts the cycle Espontâneos do Fado (Spontaneous singers) with a performance of the singer Luís Represas.
The cycle Espontâneos do Fado focuses on the Fado Interpretation
by personalities of the Portuguese society, coming from different areas, that, for one night assume the role of fado
singers…
João Gil is responsible for the coordination and artistic direction of this project, exploring, through short essays, a personalized interpretation for each ones voice in the fados that themselves choose to sing.
The challenge will be extended to other persons who will performe in the Fado Museum Cafe on Mondays, on a monthly basis.
