The Fado Museum inaugurated, on February 2nd, a temporary exhibition about the artistic journey of Camané. Throughout the exhibition you can hear the first recordings, to know the genesis of the cult singer in his family tradition, watch a few moments of media coverage at home and on the international circuit, remember some of the collaborations in other areas of music and have a deep knowledge of the immaculate repertoire in his discography.

Throughout the exhibition, it was possible to hear the first recordings, know the evolution of the cult of fado within his family, watch some of his most important moments in the country and on the international circuit, remember some of the musical collaborations and deeply know some of his immaculate repertoire.

The Voice of Camané comes from far away, from the time that in the disks of his parents, found the voices of Amália, Lucília do Carmo, Beatriz da Conceição, Fernando Maurício and Carlos do Carmo. In the family tradition we can trace Fado up to the dawn of the twentieth century period in which his great-grandfather, José Júlio da Silva Paiva, witnessed and made some of the most striking moments of consecration of Fado. The Fado of Camané is an old gift, chiselled and refined over time, nights, a daily learning. Until today.
