Fado Museum at Home

img

On the 13th of March, the Fado Museum closed its doors to the public following the National Plan for Preparing and Responding to new coronavirus disease (Covid-19).

But isolation is not distance and we want to stay close to our audience. Thus, we recall some of the tools that the Museu do Fado makes available online, which can be easily explored from home, opening up a world of possibilities for those who appreciate this musical genre that identifies Portuguese culture.

An important part of the activity of the Fado Museum at this stage is also the sharing of images, videos, detailed information and curiosities regarding pieces or documents that are part of our estate, so that the public can “visit” the Museum, online. Videos or excerpts from films and concerts co-produced by the Fado Museum are also frequently available. All of this is publicized on the Facebook and Instagram pages of the Fado Museum.

Stay comfortably at home and enjoy this immense world of Fado that we have to offer.
